For some reason - blatant commercialism, I suspect - everyone got a flag at Assembly this afternoon.


Speaking of flying, our Maori lesson was interrupted, by, well...

Friendly Room 2 Eruptions

Good afternoon,

Today for R.E. we discussed how to be a good friend.














Then, very briefly, we discussed how that if God hadn't designed the tectonic plates to allow the planet's internal pressure to escape every now and then through volcanic eruptions the earth would, well...explode!

So...


...that's how it works!

Jesus Loves

Good afternoon,

This afternoon we went over some of the bible stories that showed that Jesus loved those around Him...



...and then made mobiles that showed how Jesus loves, and how we love.





We also read, both Ma and Kahurangi starting new levels this morning.

Urghh Tuesday

Good afternoon,

And what a horrid afternoon it has turned out to be!

This morning we did a spot of maths...



...a spot of writing...






...and, after lunch...P.E.!




Just prior to this I completed a series of reading assessments across two groups. They're all doing really well!

And a lovely afternoon it is too. Just right for camp...





After lunch, we discussed how Jesus used gentle words and touch when He healed...


...so we practiced some gentle words and touch ourselves.

Brave Papa Friday

Good afternoon,

Well, we finished our class novel, Brave Mama Puss with Chapters 9 and 10.


So, the story...in total...






Oh, and speaking of things from the IWB...



And speaking of video clips...


...the choir performed for assembly.

Speaking of assembly...and getting together...Room 6 once again got together with Room 2 during our library time.




And a great time was had by all. Seriously. These seniors relate beautifully to our juniors.
