No Photos Thursday...

...well, from me anyway.

Good evening,

We kicked off the day with a wee maths assessment...

Measurement Post Test

...some writing...

...and finished the day with our whole school Easter Liturgy.

I was very proud of Room 2 - we were the only class where every member had a role to play. Thanks again Shaun for the carpentry!

Have a great break, and I'll see you all bright and shiney for Term 2 in a couple of weeks.

Mr Grant

Oh, and this just in...

Hi Mr Grant and Room 2 I am missing you!

I hope you have great school holidays and a lovely Easter.

I did the Giant Drop twice at Dreamworld, mum thinks I'm crazy!

Murky Wednesday

Well, it is now. Thankfully, the drizzle didn't set in 'till 2:30.

Anyway,

This morning we got hold of Room 6's rulers and measured the width of our toy outlines.

This afternoon we practiced for tomorrow's liturgy...

...and we finally found an answer to our inquiry questions.

Ahhh, so that's where lava comes from. For the same reason there are volcanoes on Io.

Have a nice evening, and we'll see you at the liturgy tomorrow.

Muddy Tuesday

Good afternoon,

I must appologise for the state of your children this afternoon - we ended the day playing Tee Ball against Room 12 for P.E., and, well, the field was a touch damper than I thought!

However, the day started much, well...cleaner! Specifically, some estimating and measuring...of body parts...

And a good time was had by all!

Have a nice evening,

Mr Grant

CRT Monday

Good afternoon,

I had some classroom release time today while the rest of the Rutherford team planned for next term. A trip to Ferrymead 'n all!

Anyway, Mrs O'Neill oversaw Room 2 in my absence, while they waved good bye to the Year 5s and 6s to camp...

...did some measuring...

...and practiced for Thursday's liturgy.

And a fabulous day was had by all!

Mr Grant
